5/5 stars! Was stuck between the iComfort CF 1000 hybrid and another brand hybrid when deciding on a new mattress, and I'm so glad I went with the iComfort. It's the perfect balance of plush and supportive and seems to be very well made. I've had hip/back pain in the past when sleeping and getting up, I have not experienced the same pains with the iComfort.

We were buying this mattress for our daughter and her husband but decided we would take this mattress. We like the firmness but it is not plush which I miss. This bed is not warm and fuzzy or welcoming. I feel like we are sleeping on a board. I will be returning this mattress and going with a pillow top with less firmness.

As a side sleeper (175 lbs.), I purchased this mattress primarily for hip and lower back comfort and support. While it does support my lower back, it's too firm for my hips. After three weeks, I'm still waking up with hip pain that wasn't there before this mattress. But it is still breaking in, so maybe it will soften up. It does provide a fairly cool sleep. As far as quality and fit and finish, the CF1000 seems very well made; however, the length of the mattress is actually only 78.5 inches in length, not 80 inches, as advertised. This is very disappointing. The manufacturer's tag indicates 79.5 inches in length but, of course, that's not correct either. I measured both the top and bottom of the mattress, without covers, and it's 78.5 inches long. If the hip pain does go away, I'll request an exchange for one that is actually the correct size, even if I'll have to break in that one, too.

Delivered today. The off gassing is so potent the bed is not usable. Would not recommend if smells give you a headache and throat irritation.

We were expecting a great night sleep this evening. It didn't happen as the mattress has filled the bedroom with pungent off gassing fumes. It's 1:12 AM and I'm trying to sleep in a recliner and my wife is sleeping on the couch. We've sealed off the master bedroom from the rest of the house. The bedroom window is open and the fan is on. The off gassing is so potent the bed has not been used and is unusable. Called Serta.com and asked how long will it take for the pungent smell to stop. I was told up to 30 days! Very disappointed and cannot recommend this product if your system is sensitive to pungent off gassing fumes. If things aren't better by tomorrow afternoon, it's by, by Serta mattress!

We received this mattress about two weeks ago and the memory foam has no memory to return to normal. The memory foam stays down in whatever position we slept at some point and has never returned to normal. So if we get in the bed we're basically crawling into separate cavities. I am 5 ft and weigh about 128 lbs and he is 6 ft and 200 lbs so our bodies are not unusual. We are permanently separated in our individual body cave with a giant lump between us running nearly the length of the bed. There is something terribly wrong with this mattress and I'm just hopeful for Serta that this is one that simply failed to be caught by quality control. We have determine this product is unusable for us and have gone back to our place of purchase (Mattress Firm) and ordered another mattress (another brand). We were warned that we 'only have one exchange'. No one should ever have to return a mattress in my opinion. You buy what you think will be comfortable. However, this mattress is simply not usable - period. It's terribly defected. We have begun sleeping in our guest room until our new mattress arrives and to make matters worse we're having to pay re-stocking fee and another delivery fee so this whole thing ends up being a nightmare on a defective mattress.

Purchased two twin xl mattresses to be used side by side as a King. They were placed on two separate adjustable platforms so the wife and I would both have controllers to separately control our head and feet adjustments but still have that togetherness like you have sleeping on one mattress. The major problem is even though both mattresses are sold as the same there is a night and day difference in both comfort and firmness.
To make a long story short any replacement to correct the issue has been denied by the retail establishment they were purchased at. I dont think expecting the two mattresses purchased at the same time to be of the same quality is to much to ask. I guess Serta retailers think differently

I did tons of research before buying this mattress (in the middle of the pandemic, so unable to try in person). Reviews and marketing suggested this was a great choice for side sleepers. That could not be more wrong. I regret this purchase every single night and am now spending additional hundreds $$$ on mattress toppers, etc. Very disappointed. Only reason I did not return was because of having to deal with a family illness, so return period lapsed before I could turn my attention to the issue.

What can I say except wow? For years we had a regular, spring filled, full-sized nightmare. Now are bed is so comfortable you have to drag us out of it! I'm extremely happy with this purchase and I know my neck and back are happy too!

I've had this mattress for about 2 months, and it has been very nice! My previous mattress was quite old and my boyfriend always complained about it, so we finally decided to try a few in person at a mattress store and chose this one. We tested a bunch of brands, soft firm and medium, and this one is a true medium firmness that is both comfortable and provides great support - not too soft that I sink in, and no pain when I wake up! Both of us tend to run hot at night, so I'm not sure if it provides as much cooling as advertised. If this is a concern for you, I would recommend getting the next upgrade with the additional cooling material. Overall, we are happy with our purchase and would recommend this mattress!

My husband and I bought a boxed hybrid mattress less than 5 years ago that was around the same price as our Serta. Knowing that we already had to get a new mattress is probably all you need to know. We got caught up in the marketing of these other companies but now we know why Serta is still around after all these years.
We are really happy with the quality for the price. The mattress is soft enough for me and firm enough for my husband.
Serta's delivery service was on point an they even took our sad old mattress so we didn't have to try to get someone else to take it.

I fall asleep much more quickly on this mattress and my fitbit shows longer deep sleep. It doesn't feel like a traditional memory foam mattress where you sink into a hole the shape of your body and it does do a better job of dissipating body heat.
I have had it for a couple months now and have not decided if I will keep it or not. I sleep on my side and will wake up with lower back strain which goes away after I sit for 10 min. It may be that it is not the best for side sleepers.
It is well made and has not yet developed any edge wear or sunk in spots.

We saw this bed and decided to buy it. The bed is very comfy not too soft and not too hard.

Replaced a 25 year old Serta Perfect Sleeper, with the IComort CF1000 Medium Hybrid. I have had it a couple of months. I love it. I am over 6' tall and weigh 250. It is supportive and stops pressure on shoulder and hips. Mattress shopping was a mystery to me, because it had been so long and there are so many choices. For the price direct from Serta, I don't think this can be beat. One piece of advice, I bought a waterproof mattress protector, and had to quit using it, as it made it hot to sleep. I assume the protector was blocking the cooling foam from doing its thing. Now it is okay. My girlfriend likes it too and her bed is very plush.

MY WIFE HAS A FEW HEALTH PROBLEMS. IT HAS HELPED IN SEVERAL WAYS. SHE DOES NOT HAVE GURD. ABLE TO SLEEP BETTER BECUASE OF THE ADJUSTMENT IN THE HEAD AND FEET OPTIONS. This is the superior quality mattress that I have been looking for all of my life. The mattress gives me the pressure point relief that I need, without being too soft or too firm. Additionally, the mattress provides exceptional comfort of temperature, and comfort of movement. No longer am I all sweaty at night. Every part of the mattress is comfortable, without any sagging. In the mornings after sleeping on this mattress, I feel better rested, and more refreshed than I used to with my old mattress. I am so glad that I purchased this wonderful mattress. I originally got this mattress to replace a traditional 10-year-old pillow-top that my 10yo sleeps on, which happens to also be our guest room. As far as I'm concerned, anything would be better than that one since it's always hot to sleep on, even in winter, and it just sort of swallows me when I'm on it (occasionally my daughter wants me to sleep with her). Been looking for something cooler for sleeping and a little more firm. When this Serta arrived, my daughter pleaded with me not to change it, and so my 11yo son chimed in saying he'd love to get rid of his full-over-full futon bunk for something larger and more comfortable. So I made that happen. Got a cheap metal platform bed frame from Amazon, threw this sucker on it, and OMG -- I made my son's day. He and I slept on it the first night, and I am impressed to say that I don't remember waking up at all that night despite sleeping next to a leggy child. It was VERY comfortable, supportive, and, best of all, cool to sleep on. I'm now considering making his room the guest room since that bed is SO much better. I would like to note that I am a landscaper and regular tennis player, and my body gets all the aches and pains associated with this active lifestyle. When I'm sleeping on my own [king] memory foam mattress that we got for my husband's taste, I often wake up stiff and nearly unable to turn over due to pain in my lower back. This bed actually seems to help me avoid this discomfort. When my son went to visit grandparents for a week recently, I decided to try sleeping in it every night for that week to see how it felt for the long-term, and it absolutely did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend this mattress for anyone looking for supportive sleeping. When I can afford it, I'd like to buy the king version of this. The negatives? No handles for carrying the mattress, and it is particularly awkward since it likes to flop a bit as a foam mattress and is very heavy. It also had a funky smell when I first opened the box, so I let it air out for a week in another room before using it.

Is one of the MOST COMFORTABLE MATTRESSES, I have ever used!
It's soft, without lacking any firmness. It's comfort lasts for hours. Lay on it and you will find yourself accidentally falling asleep in possibly only 5 minutes. My dad tried it and that is exactly what happened to him! He accidentally fell asleep in about 5 minutes!
Also, it is very THICK. Making it High. I could easily see this as lasting for many, many years without losing much of it's comfort, if at all!

I have been sleeping on this mattress for a few weeks now and have gotten the best nights sleep every night. It is a happy medium between being too firm and too soft. It truly does help with the cooling aspect and I'm the type of person who needs a fan on when I sleep. I sleep on my side and back and it hugs at the right places. I get up earlier than my wife and I love that when I get up it doesn't move her side at all. Also the fact that it has the outer protector on it that I can unzip and throw in the washer is great. Overall I love this mattress and can definitely tell that with the great quality it will last for years to come.

I love this mattress! The one we'd had previous was very uncomfortable, so basically every day I would wake up with my back stiff and locked up. I would sleep in such weird positions trying to get comfortable! But now Im feeling a lot better and I really am glad that we got this mattress, I feel refreshed when I wake up in the mornings, and I dont feel like my back is about to break haha!

After 8 years with a standard mattress, and time to replace it we wanted to try something new. We decided on this one and boy am I glad. It is memory foam which I love. It is soft and does kind of fold around your body, but you do not sink into it (I had that problem with a memory foam pillow). The cooling gel is a nice extra feature. It does not get cold, but does help to keep the body heat away from you. This was a huge plus for me as I tend to over heat when I sleep and it wakes me up all the time. I have had no problems with the mattress at all. It is super comfortable and does allow you to get a good nights rest. I am in love!!!

I have always swayed from soft to firm in my mattress choices...always thinking medium was just the worst of both sides. I was so wrong! Medium for me was the best of both worlds. Enough support for side sleeping and it doesn't fold me up into a taco because it is so soft. Cool and oh so comfy. Very good mattress from a very good company.

Not a fan of medium firm mattress, but I wanted to try a change in mattresses. I have been sleeping on a pillow top for a few years now. This product is a wonder for back support and head support. I often get headaches, but not since I have been sleeping on this wonderful mattress, The headaches are gone. I sleep much better, I do not wake up at night as much anymore. Very comfortable. the mattress does have a nice feeling to it. I have been finding myself more and more spending time on my new mattress. The bed is a medium firm. It feels kind of stiff when you lay on it but then the bed conforms to your body shape and makes you feel more comfortable. The bed feels cools and I sleep better now. I've had the bed for about 2 1/2 weeks and my sleep has significantly gotten better. I fall asleep easier and stay asleep. I recommend this bed to individuals who want a firm bed that moves to the shape of their body.

I was so excited to sleep on this mattress mainly for the cooling feature it has. I swear at night and my husband freezes so we sleep in different rooms. Not anymore, I am so amazed I woke up after the first night sleeping on it and hadn't sweated at all. The memory foam has really helped out with the pain I have in my neck and my arthritis. My body doesn't feel as stiff in the mornings now and I actually feel refreshed. This is such a comfortable mattress. Perfect amount of firmness and softness.

The iComfort CF1000 Hybrid Medium mattress provides an amazing sleep experience. I could definitely feel a difference between my old mattress and this one. It provides support that leaves me rested and not stiff in the mornings. It's comfortable enough for sleep or lounging around reading and watching television. The quality is of the highest grade and the appearance of the mattress itself is pleasing to the eye. I thought I would feel a tad bit cooler when sleeping, but unfortunately I still feel too warm. I think that's on my body chemistry though. Definitely recommend and look forward to many more nights of luxurious R&R.

I had an awesome chance to try this amazing Serta iComfort CF1000 Hybrid Medium matress . There's so many great things about this matress. It's great for relieving pressure points, no matter what type of sleeper you are. I'm not tossing and turning in the middle of the night anymore. The gel memory foam , does a great job of keeping me cool throughout the night. I wake up feeling well rejuvenated and rested. I really love the fact that it doesn't transfer motion getting in or out of bed . It's so nice to roll over and feel the coolness , and It also offers really good support . I have had the best sleep ever since using .This is definitely a must have in the bedroom.

This mattress is super thick and heavy! It helps keep us cool at night ! It's very thick and you don't feel any movement when a spouse moves around in the bed ! There is even plenty of space for a child to come squeeze in between and still have room to roll around and sleep comfortable! But for me I have back issues so the stiffness of the mattress is a little to firm then what I am normally use to but I have noticed that I have got to sleep faster then normal and I stay asleep longer ! The only really downside for me is that it is a little on the heavy side and I had to have help just to put it on the box spring the lifting the corners to put the fitted mattress protector and to tuck the end of my quilt under the end is also a little hard as this bed i very thick and heavy but that is a good thing also as the mattress won't slide around and and it makes it harder to have the sheets pulled from under the matters due to the weight!

This is by far the best mattress I've ever slept on!! It's soft, but firm and keeps you cool all night. I used to wake up wet from sweat, but not once with this mattress. From the delivery to the perfect nights sleep I cant say enough about this mattress. I was in desperate need having low back issues and never getting a good nights sleep. First of all, I am in love with this mattress!! I was a little wary at first about getting this particular one, as it is a "medium" firmness level. I was concerned that it would be too firm, as I usually purchase a soft pillow top mattress. However, it is AMAZING!!!! The memory foam is heavenly! It cradles your body and molds to your shape. I have an injured shoulder that is really painful to lay on, but this mattress really reduces the pain because of the way it adjusts to your body. Plus, I really like that it has a removeable cover that you can wash if needed. Finally, it is marketed as "cooling", or supposed to keep you cool at night. Honestly, I can't really tell yet...I haven't gotten hot, but maybe that's because it's the middle of winter. We will see this summer! Overall, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this mattress to anyone. It is wonderful!!!
